Acupuncture - $40
Acupuncture + eStim - $55
Electric stimulation, abreviated as eStim, is a continuous electric pulse that can be added to acupuncture needles to stimulate acupuncture points more powerfully. This allows injuries to heal faster, and is helpful for neurological disorders, and as a pain reliever for muscle spasms and nerve issues (such as sciatica). DO NOT USE E-STIM if you have a history of seizures, epilepsy, heart disease, strokes or a pacemaker.
Acupuncture + Cupping - $55
Cupping draws oxygen rich blood to the local area, breaks up adhesions, stretches fascia tissue and is effective for many types of pain and illnesses. Patients rest for approximately 15 minutes with the cups and an additional 20-40 minutes with the needles in place.
Cupping (no acupuncture) - $40
Cupping draws oxygen rich blood to the local area, breaks up adhesions, stretches fascia tissue and is effective for many types of pain and illnesses. Patients rest for approximately 15 minutes with the cups and an additional 20-40 minutes with the needles in place.
Sports Acupuncture w/ Motor Point eStim - $60
Motor Point eStim is a muscle-specific electrical stimulation treatment, where the injured muscles are isolated and needled into the motor point (where the nerves that control contraction innervate the muscle) and stimulated with an electrical current to cause the muscles to jump in rhythmic contractions and then relax. This releases tight muscles and knots.
Acupuncture + Laser Therapy - $60
Low Level Laser Therapy (Cold Laser Therapy): Lakewood Community Acupuncture offers both blue laser therapy and red laser therapy. The red laser model’s wavelength (635nm) is the same wavelength of a healthy cell. It’s commonly used to increase ATP production in the cell and gently stimulate acupuncture points and increase circulation. The red laser is a tonifying and energizing treatment. The blue laser’s wavelength (450nm) makes it ideal for treating many skin conditions, scar tissue, and cranial acupuncture points. The blue laser is a sedating and calming treatment.

Acupuncture & Reiki - $60
Reiki is a gentle hands-on energy healing that brings the body, mind, and spirit back into balance. The name itself can be roughly translated from Japanese into "Universal life force energy", a concept similar to qi/chi in Traditional Chinese Medicine or prana in Ayurveda. This energy can be found in everything and everyone, promoting health when flowing smoothly or illness when blocked. Reiki practitioners tap into that flow to help remove energetic blockages in the body & promote relaxation, harmony, and overall wellbeing.

Acupuncture + Tuina Bodywork - $60
Tuina bodywork is a very powerful and therapeutic modality used at Lakewood Community Acupuncture before an acupuncture session to warm up the channels and energy of the body and make the acupuncture treatment more effective. The patient leaves clothing on for the treatment and the acupuncturist works along the meridians of the body through compressions, rolling, plucking, rocking and kneading (similar to shiatsu). You will be treated in a communal room with other patients. Patients receive bodywork the first ten minutes of the session to stimulate certain meridians and points. Then acupuncture is administered and patients are left to rest an additional 20-50 minutes with the needles in place.
Tuina Bodywork + Cupping (no acupuncture) - $60
